
Accommodation
Achnasheen Lodge lies just to the west of Achnasheen, and is suitable for a party wishing to enjoy some fishing, hill walking or touring the Western Highlands. Ben Fionn, Slioch and Ben Eighe are just three of a number of Munros in the area famous among hill walkers and Inverewe Gardens are near by.
Enjoying a loch-side location it is a compact house with great charm and character and comfortably accommodates up to eight people in 3 twin bedrooms and on upper floor, 2 single bedrooms. The sitting room has a large picture window with superb views up Loch a'Chroisg and the lodge is oil fired centrally heated throughout. TV is now installed. Kitchen has oil fired cooker, electric cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine etc. shower room and wc bathroom and a wc.
Fishing
There is salmon fishing available on one rotating beat of the Rivers Kinlochewe, Bruachaig and A'Ghairbhe and brown trout fishing, by arrangement, on Loch a'Chroisg and Loch Fannich (when available). By arrangement, fishing is also available on Loch Maree (at additional cost), a variety of hill lochs and five miles of the River Braan, a tributary of the River Conon which runs out of Loch a'Chroisg in front of Achnasheen Lodge in which many good brown trout up to 3lbs have been caught this year.
