Home > Scottish Grouse Shooting . . .

The
Twelfth of August, the Glorious Twelfth, looms large in every grouse
shooter's calendar as heralding the start of the most exhilarating
driven game bird shooting a sportsman can enjoy.
Based in
Perthshire, the heart of good grouse shooting country, we arrange driven
grouse shooting for parties of 8-10 guns on a wide variety of Scotland's
finest moors, from the Lammermuirs in the south, Aberdeenshire in the
east to the high swept moors of Speyside and the Monadliaths in the
north.

Our main season for driven grouse shooting is 12th August
to the end of September, although in good years we are often able to
offer late season days into October and November. These late season days
will not be offered until the moors have been driven in August and September,
and are therefore, usually let at short notice.
Due to the travelling
time and distances involved, most groups take at least two days shooting,
and if we are unable to offer this on one moor, we can put together
packages to include shooting on a variety of estates.
We are able to
offer a wide range of accommodation from local hotels to fully staffed
and catered luxury lodges.
"In Scotland you are close to heaven. You really appreciate
that you are alive, that God created the world, and that you are privileged
to enjoy the scenery and atmosphere with an event like grouse shooting …… I
have gone to many, many places to shoot and Scotland is by far the best.
Not only the scenery but because of the way the birds fly". Baron
Jochen Von der Goltz, Boston, USA.
