Riding
The estate has one Highland pony, Dodger and one small Dartmoor pony, Willie. Dodger can be ridden by an experienced adult. Willie is available for children if adequately supervised and led by an adult.

Sailing
There is a Drascombe Dabber 14ft sailing boat available for use on Loch Achall.

Walking
Rhidorroch has numerous walking tracks on Ullapool Hill overlooking the village and Loch Broom apart from the main estate road, which goes through the middle of the Glen past the cottages and house. Within easy reach are a number of munros offering a wonderful day's adventure with views that will not be forgotten in a hurry. Seanna Braigh is perhaps one of the remotest Munros yet is readily accessible from the Estate. There are also a number of picturesque and varied hill and coastal walks to choose from within the area, overlooking the sea towards the Summer Isles with the magnificent Sutherland hills in the background.

Cycling
The estate road offers peaceful cycling for beginners with easy riding on the lengthy flat road. This road is 8 miles long and takes you through the heart of the Glen past rare Caledonian Pines, Birch Woods lochs and rivers with sightings of unusual birds and deer at the roadside There is more of a challenge for the experienced biker on the track eastwards to Oykel Bridge. This is a distance of about 16 miles over a rough track and you can stop half way and spend the night in the tidy Bothy by Loch Dampth.

Running
For those who would like to keep in training during their holiday the estate road is ideal for the runner. The chance of meeting a car is unlikely making the road an obvious choice with the attraction of the wonderful scenery being an added bonus.

Bird-Watching
The Estate and surrounding area is a birdwatcher's paradise with resident and migratory birds. Sea eagles and golden eagles use the Glen as a hunting ground and unusual birds such as black throated divers, dippers etc are resident during the spring and summer. The estate road goes right through the heart of the glen, which makes it easy to view the bird life. There is an extensive list of birds available to give you some idea of what you may see.

Barbecues
Whether you have caught your trout yourselves or delved into the local butcher for some home made hamburgers we are sure you will find the cottage gardens or the lochside the perfect spot for a barbecue.
