Inverailort is a well known and beautiful estate on the coast opposite the isles of Eigg and Rhum, twenty miles west of Fort William.

The Estate extends to 9,000 acres of steep and dramatic countryside with Loch Eilt and the River Ailort providing excellent wild brown trout fishing. Guests will have 1 boat for two rods on the Loch and 1 rod on the river.

Stag stalking takes placef from September and excellent hind stalking is available from early November with parties also able to stalk on neighbouring estates by arrangement.

Glenshian Lodge

Recently refurbished, the lodge is extremely comfortable accommodation with with a large drawing room and kitchen with Aga, dining room and playroom. There are 3 double rooms and 3 twins as well as attic bedrooms for children; The four bathrooms have plenty of hot water and there is central heating throughout and an unlimited supply of logs for the open fires.

The Sea

In the summer, the sea provides great enjoyment, ranging from mussel collecting and excellent fishing to the amazing white sands of Morar. Two days per week guests have the use of a RIB Speedboat to go to the islands and inaccessible beaches, which , with nearby golf course, excellent hill walking etc. make this a perfect place for a family holiday.
