
Ormsary Estate extends to over 7500 hectares and offers the very best in quality Red Deer Stalking. Only 2 hours from Glasgow, the Estate rises from the seashore of Loch Coalisport to the central ridge of Knapdale at 560 metres.
Ormsary has some of the most varied habitats on the West Coast, shoreline, native and productive woodland, low ground farmland and open hill create unrivalled variety in sport offering our guests exciting and challenging stalking amidst dramatic and breathtaking scenery, with terrain to suit all needs and abilities. Poor weather does not necessarily restrict sport as sika stags can be stalked in the low ground woods. Woodland high seats are located throughout the Estate, for use by additional rifles not stalking on any given days.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available for up to 11/12 guests in Barnlongart House on a self catering basis. A fully catered week with the services of a cook/housekeeper can be offered at extra cost, given sufficient notice.
Stalking
Red and Sika stag stalking for up to 3 rifles per day (one on the high ground and 2 on the low ground). A Scot-track is used to recover deer from the hill. When you come to Ormsary you will experience all that a successful week's stalking has to offer, together with a stunning location and the beauty of unspoilt terrain. The estate can cater for both the beginner and experienced stalker.
Hind Stalking
Red and Sika hind stalking available from November through to February, 2 rifles out each day.

Non stalking guests are welcome to enjoy the peace and quiet of Ormsary Estate, which offers a relaxing atmosphere in an area of outstanding natural beauty with opportunities for walking, bird watching, photography and exploring all that Ormsary and the surrounding area has to offer.
