Order wine direct to your lodge. Click here for details Lettings are Sunday to Sunday. Phones is a magnificent sporting estate with superb driven grouse, partridge, and pheasant shooting, with good and varied stalking. Part of the south-western flank of the Cairngorm Mountains, the estate extends over some 29,000 acres and, rising to an altitude of over 3,000ft, encompasses some spectacular scenery and includes one of the country's best grouse moors.
Phones Lodge provides accommodation for up to 18 people with a large drawing room, dining room and a kitchen to cater for such numbers. The lodge is let on a self-catering basis although the services of a cook and housekeeper can be provided. Tenants pay for their own food and drink. Etteridge is a smaller lodge on the Phones estate, and is available for let on a self-catering basis, sleeping a maximum of 8 people. From the middle of September there is stalking for one rifle with the expectation of 5 stags per week. Whilst Etteridge enjoys many of the other benefits of staying at Phones, it offers an additional option for those wishing to take a smaller lodge with or without stalking. |
