Lettings are Sunday to Sunday.
Fishing The River Naver is one of Scotland's finest rivers, and flows northwards from Loch Naver for 21 miles before flowing into Torrisdale Bay. The river runs through the unspoilt scenery of Strathnaver and the combination of the beautiful setting, the outstanding fishing and exceptional comfort of the lodge, makes Syre the ultimate location for fishermen. The River now has a limited catch and release programme, and the Naver River Board runs its own hatchery and is involved in a programme of stocking and environmental improvements to the spawning burns. Accommodation - Syre Lodge Syre Lodge provides extremely comfortable accommodation for a maximum of ten persons in two double bedded rooms, two twin bedded rooms, two single bedrooms, three bathrooms and a shower room. The ground floor includes a spacious drawing room, dining room, study and breakfast room / conservatory which has wonderful views of the Strath. The lodge is fully equipped, linen and towels are provided and each weekly let includes the services of a cook, housekeeper and house staff, although the food is the responsibility of the tenants.
Dalvina has recently been refurbished to provide very comfortable self catered accommodation for eight in four twin bedrooms with two en-suite bathrooms and one further bathroom. Stalking and Shooting From August onwards, fishing tenants may have the opportunity of red stag stalking on both Syre and North Loch Naver estates. After the fishing season ends on 30 September exclusive stag stalking is available with Syre Lodge and an expectation of up to ten stags per week. Woodcock shooting and hind stalking can be arranged for small parties from November onwards.
